Course Evaluation Questionnaire
At the end of the New York State DMV-Approved 5-Hour Online Pre-Licensing Course, you’ll be asked to complete a short Course Evaluation Questionnaire. This survey is a required step and is part of maintaining the course’s approval by the DMV.
Your input helps improve the course for future drivers — and ensures that training continues to meet real learner needs across New York State.
Is the Evaluation Mandatory?
Yes. The DMV requires all students to complete the evaluation before the course is marked fully complete and submitted for DMV certification.
Without this step, we cannot finalise your course status or send your completion to the DMV.
What Does the Evaluation Cover?
The evaluation includes questions about your experience, such as:
How clear and useful the lessons were
Whether the material helped you understand NY traffic laws and safe driving
If the platform was easy to use
Your overall satisfaction with the course
You may also be asked to comment on:
Accessibility features
Technical support experience
Whether the course prepared you for the road test
Is It Graded?
No. The evaluation is not scored, and your responses have no impact on your certification. You can answer honestly and constructively.
How Long Does It Take?
Most learners complete the evaluation in under 5 minutes. It’s the final step after finishing the course content and quizzes.
Where Is My Feedback Used?
Your feedback is used in two ways:
Reported to the DMV to ensure the course provider meets state standards
Used internally to improve course content, accessibility, and student experience
Constructive responses help shape future training updates — and allow us to support other learners like you even better.
